Our team at Fairstart Early Intervention is made up of inspired and dedicated speech pathologists, occupational therapists, specialist teachers and other support professionals. They work together to give children in Fairfield City a 'fair start'.

We are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families through supportive relationships and cultural support. We focus on strengthening families to achieve their own goals through family centred practice and play based interventions.

Using a strengths-based approach, we work with families to develop and enhance their children’s skills and enable them to reach their full potential.

Where can my child receive support?

We deliver support in our clinics in Greenfield Park and Canley Vale and also in naturalistic settings, including:

  • Home
  • Preschool
  • Primary School (Department of Education, Independent and Catholic schools)

Please note, not all schools allow therapists to deliver support at the school. If you are considering this option, please discuss it with your child’s school.

What age children does Fairstart help?

We are passionate about supporting children from birth to Primary School Yr 6 with additional needs to participate in and feel included in their community. We can deliver support at our clinics, in your home, your child’s educational environment and in the community.

What we believe

Fairstart Early Intervention believes in the importance of family-centred practice and working together with families. This helps children to participate and interact in the environments in which they learn and play. By working together with you and other important people in your child's life, your child will have opportunities to learn throughout their day as well as in their individual sessions.
